Mrs. Paige Montgomery

My name is Paige Montgomery and I am proud to be the School Counselor at Dove Creek Elementary School.  I grew up in Athens, Ohio and moved to Georgia soon after college.  I live in Watkinsville with my husband, our two children, and our German Shepherd.  I graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and from The University of Georgia with a Masters of Education Degree in School Counseling.  I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Board Certified Counselor, and a Registered Play Therapist & Supervisor.  I have been in the counseling field for over 20 years.

The mission of the counseling program at Dove Creek is to provide a comprehensive and developmentally appropriate program that focuses on the academic, career, and social/emotional development of all students.  The counseling program is delivered to all kindergarten through fifth grade students through core curriculum lessons, small group counseling, individual counseling and prevention and awareness programs.  I follow the American School Counselor Association National Model as a framework for developing the counseling program at Dove Creek.

I am enthusiastic about being an Elementary School Counselor and enjoy helping students explore problems and find solutions everyday!
