Dr. Grace Staniszewski
Dr. Grace Staniszewski is currently the Principal of Dove Creek Elementary School, after serving three years as Assistant Principal. In 2006, "Dr. Stan" graduated from the University of Georgia with a B.S. in Animal and Dairy Science. She realized that her heart belonged to working with children and she quickly began her journey into the field of education.
In 2006, Dr. Stan began serving students with disabilities while also completing her Masters in the Arts of Teaching in Special Education with an emphasis in High Incident Disabilities. Dr. Stan taught a variety of grade levels and specialized areas while in the Clarke County School District from 2006-2016, including Special Education, 5th grade general curriculum in all content areas, and Gifted Education in grades K - 5th. During this time, Dr. Stan served on district math and science curriculum and assessment teams. Additionally, she collaborated in the development of alternative assessment strategies to identify underrepresented populations in Gifted Education. She has had the opportunity to present this work at the local, state, and national levels with her team.
In 2016, Dr. Stan graduated with her doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of Georgia and began her role in administration as the Assistant Principal for Curriculum and Instruction at North Oconee High School for two years. In 2018, she was selected to assist Dr. Susan Stancil in opening the newest Oconee County school, Dove Creek Elementary.
Dr. Stan and her husband, David, have three children - Owen and twins, Nolan and Nora.

Mrs. Kim Griffith
Mrs. KIm Griffith began her teaching career in 1997 in Coweta County. She has taught in Gwinnett County and Forsyth County as well. Mrs. Griffith joined the Oconee County School System as a teacher in 2007. As a classroom teacher, Mrs. Griffith has had experience working with students K-8. Mrs. Griffith had the opportunity to serve as an instructional support specialist where she spent 5 years working alongside teachers and students in the classroom. This experience led to a passion for leading and supporting teachers.
Mrs. Griffith has a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and Special Education from Troy University. She holds an M.Ed. and Ed.S. in Special Education from the University of West Georgia.
Mrs. Griffith and her husband Scott are residents of Oconee County and have two children. A daughter that went through the Oconee County school system and a son currently in middle school in Oconee County.
